Since working from home and isolating have become the new norm well… at least for the foreseeable future! A lot of us are having to DIY since our salon visits are non-existent! whilst we are at home it’s the perfect reminder to keep our natural hair moisturised and in protective styles.
Protective styles are a great way to retain length by keeping your ends safely tucked away resulting in less manipulation and breakage.
If you’re like me and you don’t want to spend a huge amount of time on your hair then these simple and easy styles are perfect for you and your kids.
All you need are:

5 WAYS TO ROCK YOUR HIGH BUN ON NATURAL HAIR
Sleek 2 bun twists Protective Style
Perfect if you can’t braid or flat twist. A great protective style if you don’t want the hassle of braiding but you still want to look cute around the house.
French braid & Tuck Protective style
There are so many variations of this style, it’s such a classic protective style. To switch up this look I decided to do a french braid instead of the normal overhand braid.
Low side swoop bun Protective style
This side bun is great if our hair is a bit longer. It can be a bit tricky to get the side swoop neat as you can see mine wasn’t super neat. But hey… that’s ok I’m just getting ready to go to my living room!
2 braids ponytail
This is a great wash day style and also a great way to stretch your hair. Adding two braids at the front section with some accessories instantly jazzes up the look.
2 braids roll & tuck
If you don’t fancy putting your hair into a ponytail then try this simple roll and tuck method. This is a great alternative style that you can wear to different occasions.
