Let's Talk Moisture! How often should you moisturise your hair ? The best way to keep your hair moisturised is to get on a good schedule. Everyone is different so there's no quick answer it's all about trial and error. A few key factors to think about are: ▶️ Hair porosity (how well your hair absorbs moisture) ▶️Your environment. 👉it might be really hot &humid where you're at or really cold and annoying (yup.. I don't like the cold) Depending on the weather you may need to adjust things. For example, in the winter I lather on that moisturiser because the air is so drying. ▶️ The last thing to consider is the products! Does your hair work better with butters or water-based hair moisturisers? I find if I need to keep my hair moisturised longer then butters and protective styles are my friend! #trialnnerror if you're not sure I'd suggest moisturising your hair every 3 days then adjust accordingly. How often do you moisturise your natural hair? Consistency is more Important! 3 things that made me super consistent with the GYM! I always described myself as having a constant on and off love affair with the gym. On the days that we’re good we would vibe and hang out and on other days I wouldn’t be seen for months at a time! If anything this pandemic has taught me is to focus on what’s important. But even still, how do I get myself to show up more and stay on track. These are the main things that got my butt moving literally! ▶️I was tired of being tired (literally). I was constantly exhausted with no energy levels and something had to change. I believe they say "it takes desperation or inspiration to evoke change” I guess I was desperate. I realized I hated being tired more than I loved chilling and watching Netflix. Find out what you hate more… As cliche as it sounds when you find you're Why things get easier. ▶️ I started consuming a ton of health & wellness content. so in many ways, I was hacking my mind and gaining inspiration. I followed accounts that really made me feel like I could drop everything and go for a run. ▶️I made a habit of picking out my outfit the night before and planning my workout - something simple as saving a workout I saw on Instagram and doing it the next day. What put me off going in the past having no clue what I was gonna do. I want to add, I didn’t put pressure on myself to drop weight or look like anyone else. The aim was simply to show up!
